Design Narrative
Art Deco restoration transformed into a serene sanctuary of fluted glass, brushed bronze, and travertine marble.
Located within an iconic 1930s Art Deco building along Mumbai's Marine Drive, Apartment 702 was completely reimagined to honor its heritage proportions while introducing a contemporary sense of quiet luxury.
We restored the curved plaster moldings and introduced custom fluted walnut partitions that filter light between the ocean-facing salon and private library. Materials were selected for their tactile restraint: honed Roman travertine, sand-cast bronze hardware, lime-washed plaster walls, and hand-loomed silk drapery.
